The Program Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of the whole of the proposed change, co-ordination of the program’s projects and management of their inter-dependencies. As a program manager, my roles are planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action. Secondly, am responsible in ensuring. Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the program. Also, am responsible in ensuring the delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the program plan and program governance arrangements. Lastly, my role is ensuring there is allocation of common resources and skills within the program’s individual projects. Once I perform these roles effectively, it will be easy to achieve the organizations’ objective. Also, these roles motivates me, thus maximizing the chances of achieving the objectives of the organization.
